This is a complex, somewhat over-the-top description, but I wanted things to be well-defined, so that I can work on it better, a.
Big mess right now, but first drafts are like that.Sorry ;
A list of all the changes I’ve tracked, but also probably missing a lot of tiny changes.
The NSFW stuff. Don’t go here if you don’t want NSFW stuff.
Being a shapeshifter, Lys has several forms, although primarily she is an athletic (in a dancer/runner/swimmer kind of way) feminine dragoness, red body, and six red-to-white gradient horns, along with a mane and a spaded tail.
However, this doesn’t take into account the minutiae, and the many details. Instead, I’ll break them down as follows:
(Table of Contents)
The following list of details do not change between the variants of Lys; they’re constant as far as things can be concerned.
Note that this does not cover things which don’t change normally, but do change when Lys’ species changes.
This is a list of common definitions, for communication of various things to be a bit smoother I hope. ;;;
And for colors, there’s a separate list.
#b81616.#16b8b8Lys’ markings are Marking Blue, with the best descriptor for the overall style being “space tribal”. Mostly quite sleek. The individual markings will be mentioned where relevant, as well as all in one place at the collection of markings down below.
The color of the markings would be centered around the color mentioned earlier, but there’d probably be some variance.
I hope to add more markings to Lys, but haven’t yet figured out where exactly I want to place them ;;
Her eyes are draconic. That is: vertical slit pupil, somewhat elliptical iris (taller than wide), and a pale but not quite white sclera.
The iris is colored Lys Red, with the sclera being very close to white, with a tinge of pink.
Around her eyes there is a marking, mirrored to either side of her head.
It’s split into two; an upper section above her eye, and a lower section below and in front of her eye.
A line of fur that goes down Lys’ back, starting at the top of her head and flowing towards her tail, ending by the tail ring.
It starts off thin before her horns, then widens to a full mane down her neck, then it thins somewhat to a furry line down her back, thinning as it goes down her tail and ending at the tail ring.
Her mane uses the Stepped Gradient.
At the very ends of the mane (top of head, tail ring) steps can end up being forgotten for the hair. So, going from Stepped Dark Red → Stepped Red and then ending.
When anthropomorphic, the length of the mane on her head becomes much longer, down to her chest on the front, and down to her ass on the back.
Lys’ wings are generally “larger than average”, with a single sharp and curved claw at the tip, as well as a few at the back of the wing.
The following are variants on Lys’ wings.
Just no wings. From dragoness to female drake (drakess?) :3
Standard draconic wings. The upper side (dorsal) is Body Red. The lower (ventral) side is a lighter red.
Feathered draconic wings, because they’re cute.
The upper side (dorsal) is two-tone. The front of the wing is Body Red (~33%), and then after a somewhat soft step, the back of the wing is Secondary Red.
The lower (ventral) side of the wing is three-tone. The front of the wing (~25%) is Body Red, then (~15%) Stepped Pink, and finally Stepped White.
They are metallic, and look sorta like platinum. There should be no latches/seams, and would trap fur below it.
Starts out thick, but it thins considerably towards the tip. Fur tapers down and ends around the ring.
Just before the tail tip there’s a ring.
The tip of her tail ends with a flexible and sharp-edged ‘spear-tip’/‘spade’, which uses the Smooth Gradient. It primarily bends lengthwise, though has a little bit of wiggle along its width as well.
Her horns use the Smooth Gradient, and there are six total, mirrored on both sides of her head.
Each horn has two rings, one near the base (before the transition), and one near the tip (after the transition). The second ring on each horn has a small line of Marking Blue-ish gemstone beads connecting it to the rings on “adjacent” horns (1→2, 2→3, 3→1). As well as these, there’s one that goes between the two sides on horn pair 1.
Lys’ claws are generally short, sharp, and use the Smooth Gradient.
The rings on Lys’ forepaws/wrists are optional.
Her fore-paws are 4-toed with a dewclaw, and hind paws 3-toed with a dewclaw.
The forepaws each have a ring around them, at a position equivalent to a watch on a human.
She has 5 fingers, and her feet have 4 toes without a dewclaw.
Both wrists have a ring around them, equivalent to where a watch would be.
Her maw is Flesh Red. Her teeth are a lighter white than Stepped White, but not pure white.
Her tongue is flexible, and with shapeshifting can be elongated/adjusted. The top of her maw is softly ridged. With her purrs, she can also variably vibrate her tongue (because that’s cute).
Her flames are a mix of Lys Red and Zephyr Blue (instead of mixing the colors to gray, they should be mixed towards #71368a). The main core of the flame would be a swirl of the two colors, with minimal mixing.
There should also be small ‘particles’ of the red and blue on their own surrounding it.
Just a scaly dragoness. Her scales should be smooth, with minimal visible texture from a distance. Her underbelly is made of large scale plates which are somewhat flexible, which go all the way from the start of her neck to somewhere towards the end of her tail, smoothly transitioning to just scales.

A fur-coated dragoness. Below her fur coat there are scales as well, but they’re much softer. The fur should roughly follow the same colors that the scales would be in that area, and markings would be at the surface of the fur.
Her fur’s on the longer side, but around her face/head is shorter, excluding the mane.

As said in the
Markingssection, I want to add more but haven’t yet figured out where exactly I want them placed.
